Oracle has recently announced the acquisition of BEA Systems, a Pioneer Company in the middleware development for Organizations, in approximately 8.5 billion dollars.

Through this important acquisition, Oracle is looking for BEA Products and Technology to reinforce and extend in a significant way, Oracle’s Fusion Middleware Software Suite.

This transaction will accelerate the adoption of Middleware Technology based on Java and SOA, as well as improving the innovation of the Applications Software, extending the strategic relations with Customers and Partners, and increasing the penetration in Oracle’s key Regions.

The purpose of this acquisition by Oracle is to achieve the mayor possible innovation through the union of two Companies with the same vision of a modern SOA infrastructure, which will lead to a higher value to its Customers and Partners.
