Interservices has opened during January 2009 a New Location in Argentina, located in the state of San Luis, more specifically inside the Parque Informático La Punta (PILP).
Regarding the announcement, Juan Manuel Ponce Martinez, Technology, Special Applications and Middleware Director commented:
“Even though Interservices had already decided to open a new office in the country’s interior, the decision was hard to make due to the different alternatives the Provincial and Municipal governments offered. Finally, we chose San Luis, because the people who are carrying this initiative, among other qualities, have an extraordinary long term strategic vision which allowed us to reduce the risks of such an important decision”.
Regarding the staff working and providing solutions from this location, the Company believes that it’s going to count with 50 consultants by the end of the current year; who will integrate the current staff which counts with more than 200 Consultants already working from Argentina, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
During 2009, the services that are going to be provided from the PILP will be focused in the On Demand, Service Desk and Software Factory Business Units.
Interservices’ vision regarding the middle and long term in the PILP is to create Excellency Centres for Oracle Applications and Technology. The products here developed will be delivered to the Latin America and USA markets, and will have the highest quality standards, supported by international norms, certifications and methodologies.
