Interservices has successfully implemented the Upgrade and Hosting Project for Santander Puerto Rico Bank – Altec Mexico, which begun on September 2006 with the main goal of achieving and upgrade of the Financial and Human Resources modules.
The Bank’s technological and operational Infrastructural aspects motivated the decision of moving the applications to the site Santander Group has in Queretaro, Mexico.
Some of the Project’s most important aspects were.
- Development on LAB mode (with base in Argentina)
- Teamwork with another Partner (Altec Mexico) in three simultaneous locations (San Juan, Puerto Rico – Buenos Aires, Argentina – Queretaro, Mexico).
- Development of the upgrade of two suites (Financials and Human Resources) simultaneously for ten Santander Group business units.
- Combination of the Upgrade Process with the Hosting one on different sites.
- Remote execution of the Upgrade Process from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Queretaro, Mexico.
The Project represented an important challenge in which more than 20 consultants have worked onsite as well as offshore, and where Interservices shown not only that it achieved the posted goals on time, but also that it could be done on remote environments and locations, according to the new technological challenges.
The election of Interservices to have the Project developed, and its later successful production release, is a proof of the excellent work Interservices has done within the years for this Client in this Region, as well of the trust they have on us.
